What This Integration Enables

Razorpay is where the money actually moves for a business selling in India: UPI, cards, netbanking, payment links, QR codes, subscriptions, and the settlements that land it all in the bank. FlowRunner agents run that entire loop. They create orders and capture payments, generate and chase payment links, stand up UPI QR codes and virtual accounts for collections, enroll customers in subscription plans, issue invoices built from reusable billing items, and pull the combined settlement reconciliation report that ties every bank deposit back to its component payments, refunds, and fees. The through line is a simple division of labor: agents own the collection and reconciliation grind, and humans own the moves that push money out or shut revenue off. Refunds, subscription cancellations that cannot be reactivated, and on-demand settlements that carry extra fees are exactly the operations FlowRunner routes to a person before they run.

Without FlowRunner

Payment chasing by hand Unpaid links and invoices tracked in inboxes and spreadsheets, followed up when someone remembers
Refunds on trust Money returned to customers with no consistent record of who approved the reversal
Settlement mystery Bank deposits reconciled against payments in a month-end scramble

With FlowRunner

Links tracked to paid Every payment link created, reminded, and closed inside the flow
Refunds with sign-off Irreversible money movement happens only after a named approver says so
Settlements reconciled daily Each settlement broken into component payments, refunds, and fees automatically

Use Case Scenarios

Deal closed to payment collected

A deal closes in [HubSpot](/integrations/hubspot). The agent calls Create Customer with the buyer's details, Create Order for the amount, and Create Payment Link with SMS and email delivery so the customer gets a checkout URL immediately. It writes the link's short URL back onto the CRM record, then watches the link. If it sits unpaid, Send Payment Link Notification resends it. When Get Payment Link reports paid, the agent verifies the captured amount, marks the deal, and emails a receipt through [Gmail](/integrations/gmail-service) with the payment ID.

Subscription operations without accidental cancellations

The agent manages the recurring side: Create Plan defines the billing cycle, Create Subscription enrolls the customer and returns the authorization URL, and Create Subscription Add-on bills one-off charges on the next invoice. When a customer disputes a charge or asks to stop, the agent reaches for Pause Subscription, not Cancel Subscription, because a cancelled subscription can never be reactivated. Actually cancelling is a proposal it makes to a person, with the subscription's payment history attached.

Daily settlement reconciliation

Every morning the agent calls List Settlements for new entries, then Get Combined Settlement Recon for the day, which breaks each settlement into its component payments, refunds, and adjustments with fees and taxes. It appends each line to the finance workbook in [Google Sheets](/integrations/google-sheets) and checks the settled totals against captured payments. A settlement that does not tie out is posted to the finance channel with the UTR reference from Get Settlement, so the person investigating starts with the bank trace already in hand.

Human-in-Loop Highlight

Create Refund moves money out of the account, and there is no API to take it back. So the refund path in a FlowRunner flow ends at a person, not at the payment gateway. When a refund request arrives, the agent pulls the payment with Get Payment, checks prior refunds with List Payment Refunds so it never double-refunds, and posts to the finance channel: "Refund requested on pay_MkXq for Rs 12,500, captured 14 days ago, no prior refunds. Approve full refund at normal speed, approve instant refund with the additional fee, or decline?" The speed question is part of the decision because instant refunds cost real money. The approver picks one, and only then does the agent call Create Refund with exactly the approved amount and speed. This is [human-in-the-loop](/concepts/human-in-the-loop) applied where it belongs: at the moment funds leave.
