PandaDoc
DocumentsConnect AI agents to PandaDoc. Agents generate documents from templates or uploaded files, send them for eSignature, create embedded signing links, download completed PDFs, and manage templates, contacts, folders, and webhook subscriptions.
What This Integration Enables
The last mile of every deal is a document, and it is the mile where mistakes are visible to the customer. A mispriced quote or a stale term sheet does not fail quietly in a spreadsheet; it fails in front of the person about to pay you. PandaDoc is built for teams that refuse to let deals die in document turnaround, and FlowRunner agents remove the part of that turnaround that was never judgment: assembling the document, filling the fields, chasing the status, filing the signed copy. - Generate contracts and quotes from templates the moment a deal closes, with tokens and pricing tables pre-filled from the record - Turn uploaded PDFs and DOCX files into signable documents without touching the PandaDoc editor - Mint per-recipient signing links for your own portal or channel instead of PandaDoc's default emails - Download completed PDFs, optionally watermarked, straight into file storage for archival - React to document state changes downstream through webhook subscriptions The one step FlowRunner never automates away is the look before it leaves. Sending is the write that reaches a customer, so it sits behind a [human-in-the-loop](/concepts/human-in-the-loop) gate.

Use Case Scenarios
Closed-won to contract in one motion
A [HubSpot](/integrations/hubspot) deal hits closed-won. The agent pulls the deal, calls Get Template Details to map the template's roles and tokens, then Create Document from Template with the client as the signer and the deal's products in the pricing table. Get Document Status polls until the document leaves the transient uploaded state, the account owner approves the draft, and Send Document routes it for signature. The rep never opens a document editor, and the contract matches the CRM because it was generated from it.
Signing links in your own channel, not PandaDoc's emails
For teams that own the client relationship end to end, the agent calls Send Document with Silent enabled so PandaDoc sends nothing, then Create Document Link to mint a signing session for each recipient. The link posts to the deal's [Slack](/integrations/slack) channel for the account team to deliver personally, or lands in the client portal your team already runs. Same signature workflow, your voice on the envelope, and the link expires on the lifetime you set.
The archive that fills itself
A webhook subscription created with Create Webhook Subscription fires when a document completes. The agent calls Get Document Details to read the fields the client filled in, Download Document PDF to store the executed copy, then files it to [Google Drive](/integrations/google-drive-api) and emails the client their copy through [Gmail](/integrations/gmail-service). Renewal season starts with a complete, searchable archive instead of an inbox hunt, and the filled-in field values are already structured data for the next workflow.
Human-in-Loop Highlight
Send Document is the click you cannot take back. The moment it fires, the contract is in the client's inbox with your pricing, your terms, and your name on it, and a correction email costs credibility that took months to earn. So FlowRunner agents draft at machine speed and stop at the threshold: the document is generated, the tokens are filled, Download Document PDF renders the exact artifact the client would receive, and the account owner reviews it with the deal record beside it. Approve, and Send Document fires. Flag it, and the draft gets corrected before anyone outside the company knows it existed. The agent eliminates the assembly work; the person who owns the relationship decides what the client sees.
Agent Capabilities
27 actionsDocuments
7- List Documents Lists workspace documents with filtering by search text, status, tag, folder, template, and date range. The sweep step for archive and follow-up workflows.
- Get Document Status Retrieves a document's id, name, current status, and version. Used to poll a freshly created document through the transient uploaded state until it is sendable.
- Get Document Details Retrieves full document detail: recipients with completion status, tokens, field values, pricing tables, and grand total. The read that turns a completed contract back into structured data.
- Create Document from Template Creates a document from a template, assigning recipients to roles and pre-filling tokens, fields, metadata, and pricing tables. The assembly step behind closed-won automation.
- Create Document from File Creates a document by uploading a PDF or DOCX from FlowRunner file storage, optionally parsing embedded form fields into PandaDoc fields.
- Update Document Name Renames a draft document. Sent and completed documents keep their names.
- Delete Document Permanently deletes a document from the workspace. Cannot be undone, so cleanup workflows run it only after review.
Sending and Signing
3- Send Document Sends a document to its recipients, polling automatically until the draft is ready. Silent mode marks it sent without emailing anyone, for link-based delivery. The operation this page's human gate protects.
- Create Document Link Creates a signing session for one recipient of a sent document and returns a ready-to-share link with a configurable expiry.
- Download Document PDF Downloads a document as a PDF to FlowRunner file storage, with an optional text watermark on every page. Works in draft, sent, and completed states, which makes it the review artifact before sending.
Templates
2- List Templates Lists workspace templates with filtering by search text, tag, and folder.
- Get Template Details Retrieves a template's roles, tokens, fields, pricing tables, and content placeholders. The mapping step before any document generation.
Contacts
5- List Contacts Lists workspace contacts, optionally filtered by exact email. The lookup before creating a recipient twice.
- Get Contact Retrieves a single contact with email, name, company, title, phone, and address.
- Create Contact Creates a contact from just an email address, with details PandaDoc reuses on every future document.
- Update Contact Updates a contact's fields, leaving anything not provided unchanged.
- Delete Contact Permanently deletes a contact. Documents the contact already appears on are unaffected.
Folders
3- List Document Folders Lists document folders, root-level or within a parent, for filing and filtered listing.
- Create Document Folder Creates a document folder, optionally nested, and returns its UUID for filing new documents.
- List Template Folders Lists template folders for scoping template searches.
Workspace Members
2- List Members Lists workspace members with membership ID, email, name, role, and active status. Used to resolve document ownership.
- Get Member Retrieves a single member's details by membership ID.
Webhooks
3- List Webhook Subscriptions Lists configured webhook subscriptions with target URLs, subscribed events, and active status.
- Create Webhook Subscription Creates a subscription that POSTs document state changes, recipient completion, and update events to your URL, with optional extra payload sections and a shared key for signature verification.
- Delete Webhook Subscription Permanently deletes a subscription so its URL stops receiving events.
Diagnostics
2- List API Log Events Lists recent API request logs filterable by time range, status codes, and methods. The first stop when an integration misbehaves.
- Get API Log Event Retrieves one log event's full request and response detail for diagnosing a specific failure.
