T2M URL Shortener
Analytics & DataCreate and manage branded short links with the T2M URL Shortener API, using custom slashtags and redirects on your own domain. Agents mint trackable links per campaign.
What This Integration Enables
T2M is built around a commitment you make at creation and live with afterwards. The slashtag is the human readable keyword after your brand domain, the thing a person is expected to remember from a poster, read off a radio spot or type from a business card. Choosing it is a naming decision, not a technical one, and it is permanent in the way names are permanent: once it is on printed collateral, the keyword belongs to that campaign whether or not the campaign is still running. The connector treats it accordingly, letting an agent look a slashtag up by name, filter listings by it, and address a link by either its slashtag or its numeric ID, because the same slashtag can legitimately exist on more than one branded domain.
The second commitment is the redirect code, which T2M lets you set per link on creation and change on update. That choice decides how well a future repoint will actually work, because a permanent redirect is cached by the browsers and crawlers that already followed it, and a link issued that way does not reliably move everyone when you retarget it later. Around those two decisions sits the reporting T2M is genuinely strong at: daily statistics broken down hour by hour, monthly by day, yearly by month, plus lifetime totals and a geographic drill into state, city and postal code inside one country. Every report can target one tag or up to a hundred short URL keys, so campaign roll ups do not require fetching links one at a time. Accounts on a Dedicated Instance plan can point the connector at their own primary domain, so the same flows run against self hosted infrastructure without rewriting them.

Use Case Scenarios
Reserving a keyword before it reaches artwork
A campaign brief in Notion asks for a link on the brand domain using a short seasonal keyword. The agent checks the account for that slashtag before doing anything else, and finds it already live on a second branded domain from a campaign last year, still taking a trickle of traffic. Rather than creating a near duplicate or overwriting somebody's history, it posts the finding and waits. Reserving the name is a two minute decision for a person and a permanent one for the business, so a person makes it.
Reading a broadcast spike apart from a send
A campaign has a radio spot on Tuesday morning and an email through Klaviyo on Tuesday afternoon, and both drive the same tagged set of links. On Wednesday the agent calls Get Daily Stats for the tag with the right UTC offset and gets the day broken down by hour, alongside unique and repeated clicks, device, platform, browser, referrer and visitor timezone. The morning block and the afternoon block are visibly different traffic, and the summary that lands in Slack attributes them separately instead of reporting one number for the day.
A regional rollout judged on where people actually clicked
A retailer is deciding which metro areas get the next wave of stores. The agent calls Get Geo Stats for the campaign tag inside one country and gets clicks broken down by state or region, city and postal code, then writes the table to Google Sheets beside existing store locations. The recommendation that goes to the operations lead is a ranked list with the underlying click distribution attached, so the person deciding sees the evidence rather than a conclusion.
Human-in-Loop Highlight
The gate here is on Create Short URL, which is not where most connectors put one, and the reason is that on T2M creation is where the irreversible choices are made. When a flow asks for a specific slashtag, the agent checks the account first. If that slashtag already exists on another branded domain, minting a second one creates a name that resolves two ways: Get Short URL and Delete Short URL both accept a slashtag, and from then on either call has to be given a numeric ID to be unambiguous. If the existing link was issued as a permanent redirect, browsers and crawlers that already followed it have that destination cached, so reusing the keyword also inherits traffic you did not ask for. None of that is knowable from the brief, so the agent assembles it and asks: "Slashtag /spring already exists on the second brand domain, issued 14 months ago as a permanent redirect, still taking clicks, and it points at last year's offer. Reuse it and repoint, or reserve a new slashtag for the print run?" The campaign owner answers, and the agent creates exactly what was chosen. Reserving a public name that will be printed on something you cannot recall is the kind of decision an agent should surface rather than settle, and routing it to a person is what human-in-the-loop is for.
Agent Capabilities
15 actionsShort URLs
5- Create Short URL Shortens a destination into a T2M link, with an optional custom slashtag or a generated one between 3 and 100 characters, an HTTP redirect code, a password, a branded domain, a tag for grouping, and an expiry of up to 3650 days where zero never expires. Returns the numeric ID and the full short URL. Used as the mint step, and gated by a person whenever the slashtag is one the business will publish.
- List Short URLs Returns a paginated list of the account's short URLs with numeric ID, slashtag, destination, redirect code, click count and timestamps, narrowable to a single branded domain or a specific slashtag, up to 500 per page. Used to check whether a slashtag is already taken and to build the working set for a housekeeping run.
- Get Short URL Retrieves one short URL with its destination, slashtag, redirect code, total hits and timestamps, accepting either the numeric ID or the slashtag. Use the numeric ID when the same slashtag exists on more than one branded domain. Used to inspect an existing link before deciding whether to reuse or replace it.
- Update Short URL Updates a link in place, keeping it live while changing any combination of destination, slashtag, redirect code, password and branded domain, leaving omitted fields alone. Used when a landing page moves and the collateral carrying the link cannot be reissued.
- Delete Short URL Permanently removes a short URL so it no longer redirects, accepting either the numeric ID or the slashtag. Use the numeric ID when the slashtag is not unique across domains, because a name based delete is ambiguous when it is not. Used at genuine end of life, and never on a slashtag that is still in print.
Tags
5- Create Tag Creates a tag for grouping short URLs so their clicks report together, with a name unique to the account of up to 25 characters and an optional description of up to 255. Returns the numeric ID. Used at campaign setup so every link minted afterwards has somewhere to belong.
- List Tags Returns a paginated list of the account's tags with numeric ID, name, description and creation date, up to 500 per page. Used to resolve a tag before creating links against it or pulling a report.
- Get Tag Retrieves one tag by name with its numeric ID, description and creation date. Used to look up the ID that link creation and reporting need when the flow only knows the campaign by name.
- Update Tag Renames a tag or changes its description without affecting the short URLs assigned to it. Used when a campaign is renamed mid flight and the reporting label should follow.
- Delete Tag Permanently deletes a tag by name. Analytics grouped by that tag are no longer available afterwards, so the report a stakeholder runs monthly stops returning. Used only when the grouping is genuinely finished with.
Analytics
5- Get Daily Stats Returns one day of clicks broken down by hour, alongside unique and repeated totals and breakdowns by browser, country, device, platform, language, referrer and visitor timezone, with an optional UTC offset to shift the reporting day. Targets one tag or up to 100 short URL keys. Used to separate a broadcast spot, a send and organic traffic that all landed on the same date.
- Get Monthly Stats Returns one calendar month broken down by day, with unique and repeated totals and breakdowns by browser, country, device, platform and referrer. Used for the standing campaign report that goes to a stakeholder on a schedule.
- Get Yearly Stats Returns a full calendar year broken down by month, with unique and repeated totals and the same device, geography and referrer breakdowns. Used for annual planning and for seeing whether a recurring campaign is growing or shrinking against itself.
- Get All-Time Stats Returns lifetime analytics with a year by year and month by month breakdown plus the full set of totals and breakdowns. Used to judge how much traffic an old slashtag still carries before anyone proposes reusing or deleting it.
- Get Geo Stats Returns a geographic drill down of clicks inside one country over a date range, broken down by state or region, city and postal code, for one tag or up to 100 short URL keys. Used to put a click distribution behind a regional targeting or expansion decision.
Triggers
1 triggersEvent Triggers
1- On New Short URL Fires when a short URL is created in the account, emitting the link object with its ID, slashtag, short URL, destination and redirect code, and can be limited to a single branded domain. The first poll establishes a baseline without firing, so existing links are never replayed. Used to catch links created outside the workflow, register them against the right tag, and flag any slashtag reserved without review.
